Intertwining Operators and Endomorphism Algebras for Representations of Covers of Reductive p-adic Groups

This PhD thesis is about smooth complex representations of covering groups of reductive p-adic groups. One of the main results is a formula for the Harish-Chandra mu-function for covering groups, which is defined using intertwining operators between parabolically induced representations. This result generalizes Silberger's formula for reductive groups, however the proof is different. Additionally, this thesis contains results on the structure of Bernstein blocks for principal series representations of (Brylinski-Deligne) covers of split reductive p-adic groups.
